.::Obama up Big vs. McCain::.

Current Electoral Score - Obama 336.0 - McCain 202.0

If you aren't familiar with FiveThirtyEight.com, they project the electoral map if the election were held today. What makes them different/better than other projections? They accumulate and analyze polling and political data in a way that is very informed and accurate. They absolutely give the best possible objective assessment of the likely outcome of upcoming elections. They base their outcome on the current major polls (historically accurate polls weigh more heavily), they include a regression estimate based on the demographics in each state, they simulate the election 10,000 times, (yes 10,000 times!) for every single site update in order to provide a probabilistic assessment of electoral outcomes based on a historical analysis of polling data since 1952.

If you are going to use a single website to follow the election trends this is the one I would recommend and it is also the one the Kos will send you to. It's a little easier to remember this site over the others as well since 538 equals the amount of electoral votes in the presidential election. My goal this time is to point readers to (what I see as) the most accurate electoral website and to explain why they are the most accurate!
