This needs to be watched all the way through to the end. The guitar playing by Prince is absolutely unbelievable. He was a prodigy as a child, he could play virtually any instrument. I didn't like Prince much when I was young, (for some reason I did like Michael Jackson, funny how the kids like Michael huh? I loved 'Thriller'), but there is no denying Prince's talent. In the film Purple Rain, Prince (played as "The Kid") and the band are identified as "The Revolution". His real band became Prince and the New Revolution. and then we all remember 'The Artist Formerly Known as Prince' when his name was an unpronounceable symbol (right). Play the video and watch Prince get down a little over halfway through and watch it to the end. This is live, but sounds like a great studio cut.
